The Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp (Caridina cantonensis) are known for their bright red and white color, which makes them stand out against any background or substrate. Though these shrimp are similar to our Crystal Red Shrimp, they are more rare and have a more fractured "galaxy" pattern.

The bright coloring covers the majority of the shrimp's body, making them A grade. Higher grades of Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp have more white and less red covering, and they might be more difficult to preserve since they are more delicate. As a result, A grade Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp are the finest place to start for anybody interested in raising Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp.

We also offer a black and white version of the same prawn, known as a "Black Galaxy Pinto." They will mate with these and produce solely black/white or red/white progeny, resulting in an amazingly stunning galaxy shrimp colony.
