The Panda, also known as the Butterfly Garra, is a common and appealing scavenger and grazer that may be found in loose aggregations in rocky streams in Western Myanmar. The species has been professionally produced for the aquarium trade for years, and wild individuals are nearly never exported. They are an energetic fish and helpful grazer in the aquarium, eating diatom and other types of nuisance algae effortlessly. They are best maintained in a group of 3-5 specimens since they are hardy and adaptable.
